As a Night Auditor, you will be a key touch point our guests overnight and will deliver outstanding service and provide unrivalled insider knowledge.
You will be a confident communicator with excellent attention to detail and able to anticipate guest needs and ensure they are connected with their room, the resort facilities and their home away from home. You will respond promptly to guest requests and work collaboratively with various teams across the resort to ensure guests’ needs, comfort and satisfaction are met and their stay is delightful and memorable.
Working closely with our Night Manager, you will be support after hours operations for resort, working across the below;
• Guest Service Agent duties including check ins, check outs and managing any guest queries
• Undertaking the night audit process including correctly posting all Resort revenue for the day, accurately identifying discrepancies, and producing a complete night audit report thoroughly and accurately
• Supporting the monitoring of Resort security overnight
• Daily compilation and distribution of requested reports
You will be empowered to resolve any issues that arise confidently and independently, a champion for the integrity and consistency of brand standards and InterContinental service delivery at all times.
Ideally, you will have one - two years previous experience as a Night Auditor or be an experienced Guest Service Agent wanting to grow operational exposure. A problem solver with the capability to turn issues into opportunities, your exposure to wider hotel and resort operations and experience working within housekeeping or food and beverage in addition will be advantageous.
With strong communication skills and the ability to think outside the box, you’re also physically fit and able to lift luggage and other items as needed and comfortable working autonomously in an fluid and flexible overnight environment. Knowledge of a hotel property management system such as Opera would also be desirable.
You must also hold the appropriate work rights to work within Australia alongside an open Australian driver’s license, RSA Certificate and First Aid Certificate and be able to work overnights consistently and have flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required; commencing from early to mid September 2020.
