Your day to day
Under the direction of Chef de Cuisine, you will be involved daily to oversee all aspects of the Food Production and Stewarding operations. • Assist the Chef de Cuisine to control stocks of all food, material and equipment• Follow set standards of all food and equipment purchases in accordance with IHG guideline • Monitor local competitors and compare their operation with the hotel Food and Beverage operation• Actively support the Chef de Cuisine to participate in the preparation of the hotel''s revenue plan and marketing programs• Ensure that all food stock levels within food preparation areas are of sufficient quantity and quality in relevance to the hotel occupancy and function forecasts
What we need from you
• Degree or certificate in culinary arts• 5 years of proven experience as a chef• Posses professional disposition with good communication and interpersonal skills• Proven ability to adapt to varying situations• At least 1 year in a supervisory capacity, or equivalent combination of education and culinary/kitchen operations experience
