This luxury beach front hotel embodies the beauty of the ocean - the stylish contemporary architecture is decorated with marine themed touches that bring the outside world to life. Home to eight restaurants and bars, Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island has plenty of dining options including an all-day dining venue, two signature restaurants, a lobby lounge and bar, a pool and beach bar and a sports lounge. Guests can also explore the 400 metre public beach and three swimming pools. Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island was developed under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Suroor bin Mohammed Al Nahyan’s Projects Department.
 
About the Role:
 
An opportunity has arisen for a Night Manager to join our Front Office department in Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:
 
  • Monitor Front Office personnel to ensure guests receive prompt, cordial attention and personal recognition
  • Monitor Guest Relations personnel, repeat guests and other VIPs receive special attention and recognition
  • To handle and resolve any guest complaints received at the Front Desk
  • Control the availability of rooms, rooms types, accuracy of room count and rate categories
  • Maximize occupancy, revenue and average rate while maintaining high service standards
  • Liaise with Housekeeping Department to ensure room image is maintained and as far as possible the “Room Ready on Arrival” policy is adhered to
  • Liaise closely with Executive Housekeeper to ensure special guest needs, amenities and other room related requests are met
  • Approve upgrades and special amenities in absence of Front Office Manager
  • Maintain inter-departmental relationships to ensure seamless customer service
     

About you:

 

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

 

  • A minimum of 2 Years experience as an Assistant Front Office Manager in an international Hotel Chain
  • Pre opening experience is mandatory
  • Outstanding concern for quality, hospitality and guest satisfaction
  • Great financial management experience (P&L, forecasting, budget)
  • Strong knowledge of property management systems
  • Exceptional People Management Skills, maintaining a positive approach, able to handle conflict and confrontation
  • Strong Leadership and organization skills with a “hands on approach”
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Superb Communication Skills, both verbal and written
