We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing & Visual Merchandising Manager to join the Benefit Cosmetics team on a full time 12 month contract!

The Marketing & Visual Merchandising Manager will drive the creation of the marketing calendar and product strategy for Benefit Cosmetics Australia across our retail channels and shape the look and feel of Benefit Cosmetics within the beauty retail environment in Australia & New Zealand, from design through to on-counter execution, to create an impactful, commercial and striking customer experience.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Marketing

  • Drive the development of the marketing calendar and product strategy in Australia
  • Work closely with the Marketing Director and Product Manager to establish annual product marketing plans based on global and regional strategies
  • Oversee launch and ongoing product forecasting requirements and category analysis, including overseeing product logistical needs with the Supply Chain & Logistics teams
  • Manage retailer distribution strategies and propose recommendations to maximise in-store traffic and commercial outcomes in conjunction with Product Manager and National Account Manager
  • Develop 360 launch plans for newness or category refocuses in close collaboration with the Head Office team
  • Deliver a customer experience and product offering that represents DNA-rich in memorable and fun moments, adapting to each retailer’s needs and customer.


Visual Merchandising

  • Work with the Global and Regional Benefit Merchandising Teams to deliver a consistent look and feel of Benefit stores, while finding new creative visual communication concepts that communicate the Benefit brand that speaks to the needs and desires of the customer
  • Collaborate with the Benefit Marketing Team to create visual merchandising concepts that drive the strategic message and commercial outcomes of all new launches
  • Work with third party suppliers to manage the design and installation of on-counter animations
  • Drive productive outcomes by optimising space, working with the Product Manager and National Account Manager to adhere to specific assortments by retailer
  • Collaborate with the Benefit Sales Team to ensure all Visual Merchandising standards are upheld, including overseeing the Marketing & VM Coordinator in managing on-counter repairs
  • Conduct regular counter visits across the entire store network to monitor merchandising standards, hygiene and cleaning compliance at Browbars and counter cleanliness
  • Manage the budget, allocation, and inventory of all merchandising and POSM materials to meet on counter deadlines


Store Planning and Design

  • End-to-end management of all new and refurbishments of Benefit counter installations in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers, including overseeing budget, design layouts and development and approval of architectural drawings and specifications for construction
  • Successfully implement new tender processes as required


Profil

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • 5 years’ relevant management experience in merchandising including counters in-store design, with retail cosmetics or fashion-related experience
  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset and also a true team player
  • Remains agile and strategic within a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
  • Perceptive and observant with exceptional attention to detail
  • Effective, precise and strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with and influence stakeholders at various levels in the business
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate a team


·        Strong quantitative and analytical skills

  • Ability to manage many projects and tasks at once
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Autocad (or equivalent technical drawing software)
  • Good sense of design and colour, with creative imagination for form and function
