Job Title: Marketing & Communications Assistant Manager, Southeast Asia Job Band: Management Function: Marketing, Events, Media Country: Singapore Reporting Position: Marketing and Communications Director – SEA & Australia
To promote FENDI brand awareness through effective Marketing and Communications programs, specifically Public Relations, across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines and supporting Australia and Indonesia. Together with the Marketing and Communications Director, strategize and drive brand development and PR initiatives, aligning with global brand guidelines and local market specificities. Work collaboratively within the Marketing team, coordinating with other relevant functions; merchandising and retail for key launch timings. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: • Manage all PR activities to maximize editorial coverage and visbility (online and offline and socials) ensuring editorial ranking targets are achieved • Work with, and drive PR Agencies in Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines to achieve maximum editorial visibility ( media online, offline and socials) and set editorial targets • Responsible for all necessary PR reports, weekly updates to HQ, and monthly DMR analysis • Maintain and share updates for key competitors PR activities, providing reports to all SEA teams and HQ as relevant • Collaborate on in-store animations and events aligning with relevant departments at key collection launches, according to global guidelines • Responsible for effective Press Sample management, within the set systems, directly across all SEA, with overview on Australia and Indonesia • Maintain professional relationships with key media, online & offline, as well as celebrities and KOLs to maximize positive publicity according to the brand vision and initiatives.
• Degree holder in marketing or related disciplines • Minimum 6 years working experience in marketing • Related industry experience (Luxury fashion) preferred • Able to work independently and also collaboratively with cross-functional teams • Strong attention to detail • Familiarity with media scene and market dynamics • Experience in digital PR/social media PR a plus • PR savvy and have good journalistic instincts, good relationship with key titles/ media • Good interpersonal and communication skills to establish the network • Presentable, with a good personal and professional attitude • Excellent command in written and spoken English • Proficient in Microsoft office especially Excel and PowerPoint
