The shore excursions coordinator will assist the shore excursions manager in preparing the shore excursions programs in the Caribbean area & North America.


•Fluent in English. Knowledge of languages other than English (German, French, Spanish, Italian) is a plus;

•Associate degree;

•Preferred 3 years’ experience in the cruise line industry / tours department;

•Experience using computer software (including Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point);

•Candidate must be able to communicate professionally and effectively at all levels (verbal and written) with customers and within the company. Ability to clearly convey information through a variety of media (verbal, written, e-mail, etc.);

•Must be able to work independently and report to the manager as well as work well as part of a team;

•Strong organizational skills, highly organized and detailed. Flexibility and ability to multi task;

•Excellent ability to work in a deadline driven environment;

•Must demonstrate an excellent phone manner and etiquette and be able to maintain a positive attitude when under pressure;

•Availability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs including extra hours;

•The work schedule may require to work some weekends / holidays, depending on business needs;

•Availability to travel on board the ship and by flight.


•Assists in preparing the file which will be used to upload all shore excursion information on the websites;

•Maintains shorex documentation such as descriptions and price lists duly updated for Caribbean & North America shore excursions program;

•Assists with the preparation of tours program by organizing the information collected during the bidding as requested by the manager:

•Sets in DTS / online platform the pricing and inventory reserved to the sales (using Excel) after this has been coordinated with the tour operators and internally (Caribbean and North America program):

•Provides assistance to the Reservations Department about general shorex inquiries, as needed;

•Interacts with groups department about groups booked through the US office and requesting a private / customized experience. Provides such quotes to group department:

•Communicates with the ships in the Caribbean area regarding PCM reports, revised tours allotments, daily reports, and US group’s information;

•Prepares and submits all required reports and files;

•All other duties as assigned by the manager.
