We’re looking for a savvy, creative go-getter to join our Partner Sales team, to help us grow the number of stays in our curated portfolio of distinctive private homes.  Our Partner Sales team are critical to the success of onefinestay by representing and evangelizing our brand to travel agents, corporates, concierge services and an array of other partners around the world.

The business development manager will be dedicated, detail oriented and an engaging communicator with partners to reach their target and represent the premium service model of our brand.  They will use a proactive, consultative and entrepreneurial approach to build on an existing portfolio that will make them the go-to person for their clients.

The position is based in the Los Angeles office where the employee will represent onefinestay in calls, meetings and presentations.  It''s an exciting time to join the team as we continue to grow. The business development manager will be key as we generate and nurture new partnerships.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Grow a portfolio of existing business by setting up and attending meetings, pitching onefinestay and growing relationships

  • Utilize salesforce for contact management, activity reporting, statistical analysis

  • Manage the accounts generated throughout the lifecycle stages driving engagement and repeat bookings

  • Work closely with the partners, finance and guest sales teams to ensure excellent partner and guest satisfaction

  • Flexing into other teams to support on discrete tasks dependent on business need

  • Supporting manager and team on discrete projects as required

Qualifications and experience

  • Results-driven: A target gets you out of bed.  You’ve mastered the art of building rapport and forming relationships and you’re able to maintain a number of priorities

  • Engaging. You’re emotionally intelligent; your EQ is through the roof.  You’re a clear, compelling, and charismatic verbal and written communicator

  • Quick to learn: You quickly pick up new skills and not afraid to ask for support

  • Organized: You have the potential to track and report your progress and your clients'' (a familiarity with Salesforce is a plus)

  • Creative.  You have an entrepreneurial mindset

  • Collaborative.  You are a team player ready to work with our amazing brand marketing, ecommerce, technology and operations teams

  • Bonus points if you have knowledge of, and existing relationships within the high-end travel trade

  • Excellent communication skills (fluency in written and spoken English)
