To provide leadership in all selling activities within the resort, working closely with the Rooms,F&B and other revenue-generating departments to maximize sales through the activities of the Sales Department and other employees.
In this position, you are responsible for the acquisition of new customers, for the expansion of existing customers, as well as for the co-ordination of the team and report directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing. You continuously view your markets and analyze them. The production of statistics and market-relevant information is an easy way for you. You have a flair for trends and cover both national and international source markets.
You will be responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International''s Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. The Associate Director of Sales is responsible to assist in providing leadership in all selling activities within the resort, working closely with the Rooms, Food and Beverage and other revenue-generating departments to maximise sales through the activities of the Sales Department and other employees.
Minimum 2 years work experience as Associate Director of Sales or Senior Sales Manager. Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must. Good understanding of selling techniques and marketing approaches. Computer skills in MS Office, email, Fidelio/Delphi/RESERVE will be an asset.
Excellent customer relations, communication, presentation and organization skills of utmost importance.
