Qatar Airways have embarked on an exciting transformation journey to change how we interact with our customers.

As part of this journey, we are now recruiting for a Digital & Marketing Manager based in New York to take a leading role in the America Region to cascade all Digital and Marketing plans including budgeting, to support meeting the key KPIs of Revenue, Brand awareness, Corporate penetration, Digital Direct and Loyalty.

Reporting to the Head of Digital & Marketing, you will manage the Regional team responsible for all activities related to Digital Direct, Loyalty and Marketing Operations ensuring adherence to an optimized Omni channel approach.

Accountabilities include:

  • Monitor closely the day to day operations of the team, ensuring that the team is aligned with the established processes while providing regular tracking and reports to the leadership teams.
  • Support the Head of Digital & Marketing in managing the planning and execution of Digital and Marketing activities within the Region.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on digital direct for the assigned region, including activities aimed at driving brand awareness, corporate & leisure revenues as well sales via QR.com and all related platforms.
  • Own the responsibility to enable the assigned region to achieve the set targets and objectives for digital and Marketing within the agreed cost of sale.
  • Achieve all necessary KPIs for each digital channel and sub-channel for the market.
  • Monitor and manage the usage of the assigned marketing budget for the assigned region in the most cost efficient way to achieve agreed KPIs.
  • Develop jointly with the Head of Digital and Marketing action plans that will grow QR’s share of loyal consumers through marketing campaigns, tools and technologies.
  • Assist in developing plans geared towards increasing sales share from loyal members.
  • Establish a regional execution strategy to reach the assigned ancillary targets.
  • Seek out regional partnerships geared towards reinforcing Qatar Airways position in the assigned region.
  • Maintain strong awareness of new and emerging digital payments modes within the assigned region and propose where appropriate additions to the existing suite of payment options to improve digital direct penetration.
  • Initiate regional strategy proposals aimed at growing direct traffic and owned media share in the e-marketing portfolio and subsequently decrease dependency on paid advertisement.
  • Support the Head of Digital and Marketing to develop the regional strategy, and provide regionalised inputs to ensure relevance to the market context.
  • Oversee and supervise employees. Direct daily activities, recruit, train, develop and discipline to ensure a high standard of service delivery.

Qualifications

Job requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent ideally within Marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of job-related experience with strong experience in Digital Marketing ideally within Aviation.
  • Experience in Digital and Marketing positions at a managerial level – ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Solid experience in corporate business acquisition, partnerships and Loyalty marketing.


Fluency in English is (written and spoken) is essential for this role.  You MUST also have the current legal right to live and work in the US to be considered for this role.
