POSITION SUMMARY

As an analyst at RMS, you will be working within a team that is responsible for managing and implementing pricing strategies for leading restaurant brands in Scandinavia and Europe. You will be responsible for the analytical processes for 1 to 2 client accounts representing several 100 millions Euro in annual turnover and at times support other client accounts within the teams portfolio.

As such you will work on large sets of transactional sales data and perform rigorous data analyses that you will translate into profit driving pricing strategies for our client with the help of your team lead consultant. You will work closely with your clients corporate office and franchise operators to adapt menu, marketing and pricing strategies to changes in business such as new competitors, changing consumer habits, changing times (Covid) and other.

You will support presentations and meetings with C-suite executives of our client accounts to discuss the revenue management strategies and also ensure the effective implementation of the pricing strategies with the franchisees.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

The desired candidate should have strong analytical, communication and presentation skills as well as strong proficiency with statistics and mathematics. The individual must have a credible reputation and be a detailed-oriented and result-driven person who can tackle multiple assignments. S/he must have strong verbal and writing skills in English and any Scandinavian language. A key criterion is that the candidate has the ability to take ownership of the analytical projects for their client.

More specifically key requirements include:

SKILLS
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and any Scandinavian language
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Experience in Data Visualization tools such as Power BI, and exerience with SQL, Python, R is a strong advantage
- Able to filter out noise from large amount of information/data and get to the core of the content comfortably
- Able to tackle business questions using appropriate analytical tools, apply the appropriate level of statistical/mathematical rigor into analysis as needed
- Able to story-tell information and communicate statistical/mathematical concepts with analogies and metaphors

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Honors and/or advanced degree in Revenue Management, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computing, Business or equivalent technical field
- A minimum of 12 months full-time or part-time equivalent work experience
- Experience in business analytics / revenue management or experience in the restaurants and/or retailing sectors is an advantage
