With more than 25 subsidiaries and 600 boutiques MONTBLANC is present all over the world.

MAIN PURPOSE

To develop and implement the Maison’s strategy in KSA – including sales, marketing, communication, client and people management, in order to reach the Maison’s business together with the financial objectives and build brand equity in the market.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Team Management & leadership
  • Design the optimum organization, in line with the market vision and business objectives
  • Identify internal and external talents and maintain an ongoing pipeline of high-calibre candidates
  • Develop and reward according to individual and collective performance
  • Lead and motivate teams by providing long term vision for the business, ensuring regular internal communication and drive overall employee engagement
  • Lead the HR processes (PMP and Middle Year Reviews, Compensation Management, Career Committee, Internal Development Plans and mobility)


  1. Achievement of sales targets
  • Propose annual budget and set sales targets
  • Define Network strategy and annual Marketing action plan in collaboration with Regional teams in order to achieve sales objectives
  • Responsible for Retail and VIP Client sales together with the Retail Director


  1. Strategic and Financial planning
  • Prepare with President MEIA the annual market action plan and the Rolling estimates
  • Closely monitor budget and full P&L through monthly review to meet the profitability levels and take actions accordingly


  1. Retail Network development
  • Develop network strategy in close collaboration with President MEIA:
    • Conduct Real Estate market research & gather competitive intelligence
    • Identify strategic opportunities for new boutiques and build the related business case
    • Secure optimal location for Montblanc and negotiate commercial terms
      (including rental, Capex contribution…)
    • Ensure lease renewals at best conditions for existing boutiques
    • Monitor boutique performance and propose phasing out / closure when relevant. Lead the closure negotiations for non-profitable / under question mark boutiques as approved by President MEIA
  • Prepare annual Capex budget for Retail and Specialist projects (new openings, renovations, extensions…) and monitor expenditure accordingly
  • Ensure quarterly reports are submitted accurately and timely (network plan, competition survey, Capex budget/LE…)


  1. Client Relations and Development
  • Represent and act as an Ambassador of the Maison during international and local events and support Retail and Marketing team in fostering relations with VIP clients
  • Drive definition and implementation of Client strategy
  • Ensure client service excellence at the level of Brand’s expectations


  1. Image, Marketing and Events
  • Protect and enhance the image of the Maison in Saudi Arabia with no compromise on the standard of quality in every aspect of the business (events, retail, communication, PR)
  • Contribute to building the marketing & communication strategy and action plan designed by Montblanc Middle East
  • Oversee the implementation of local events plan ensuring best execution and image for the Maison


  1. Richemont Service Level Agreement
  • Ensure that the SLA defined by the Group meets the Maison’s requirements and influence local Richemont teams to optimize service delivery

  • Number of Direct and indirect (if applicable) reports:
    • Direct: 3 (1 Retail Director, 1 Marketing & Ecommerce Manager, 1 Operations Executive)
    • Indirect: (boutique staff, 1 Visual Merchandiser, 1 Retail Coordinator, 1 Trainer)
  • Turnover or any financial responsibility: Total sales
  • Number of boutiques: 7


EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

  • University Degree in Business Administration or in Marketing & Sales


EXPERIENCE

  • 5 – 8 years of luxury retail experience in Sales Management and/or Retail Operations


PERSONAL SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES

  • Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and leadership abilities
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills
  • Strong understanding of Retail Operations and Financials
  • Arabic language skills is a plus
