Rosewood Hotel Georgia is looking for a Revenue Manager.  



The Revenue Manager will be responsible maximizes hotel room revenue and other revenues through development, implementation, and maintenance of revenue strategy, in cooperation with sales and marketing and through the optimal use of all business systems.



Main Responsibilities





Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards.

Ensure that revenue management standards are maintained at a superior level daily and in the absence of the Director of Revenue.  Responsible for maximizing the overall hotel revenue of this ultra-luxury property in the heart of Vancouver city. 

Monitor and analyze STAR report and other marketplace measurement tools and present revenue opportunities to Planning Team and Department Heads.

Implement revenue strategies and management of pricing in all applicable systems including but not limited to central reservation, GDS, 3rd party Internet and brand sites for promotions and updates.

Research, identify and develop revenue management opportunities, techniques and practices that contribute exceptional RevPar growth and market share increase.

Conducts and leads weekly Revenue Strategy and Group Pick-up meetings.

Ensure that business partners are fully exposed to the highest levels of revenue management strategy and practice to ensure alignment and maximization of business strategy.

Develop, implement and monitor compliance with standard operating procedures and reporting procedures for all hotel and central processes to ensure accurate and timely delivery of messaging pre-stay and post-stay for all guests. 

Develop, implement and monitor compliance with standard operating procedures and reporting procedures for all business channels with corresponding standardization of data entry/account coding for the property, with the goal of providing real-time business analysis.

Develop, implement and monitor compliance with standard operating procedures for all revenue management functions.

Implement and maintain an effective yield strategy that achieves optimal revenue for Rooms, with consideration for Food and Beverage, Catering and Banquets, and Spa at all times.

Accountable for the forecasting and budgeting of revenues for the subject property in a strategic was with maximum accuracy

Ensure that business partners are fully exposed to the highest levels of revenue management strategy and practice to ensure alignment and maximization of business strategy.

All other duties as required.



Job Requirements: Qualifications





Minimum 4 years of experience as a Revenue Manager for a luxury property. Experience with the local market highly valued.

College or university degree preferred. 

Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy; prioritize, organize and follow-up; be a clear thinker, remain calm and resolve problems using good judgment; follow directions thoroughly; understand a guest’s service needs; work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team; work with minimal supervision; maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.

Demonstrate affinity for hospitality business systems, working knowledge of economic and commercial influences on customer behavior, business calculus and financial management. Highly skilled in all forms of professional communication and data visualization, consensus building, persuasion and negotiation.

Direct experience with the following business systems preferred: Opera PMS, Opera ORS, SynXis, Cendyn, IDeaS  RMS G3, RevIntel, OTA Insight, Salesforce, Smith Travel Research

Required to speak, read and write fluent in English

Must be available to work weekends.
