Shangri-La Hotel, Shenyang enjoys a central location with panoramic views of the historic city. Guests will have easy access to Shenyang''s commercial and industrial zones, city government and consulate offices, and exhibition centres. The hotel is also within walking distance of shopping districts and tourist attractions.

Guestrooms are spacious and the hotel offers more than 4,000 sqm of function space, for weddings and other events. Highlights include Shangri-La''s signature Summer Palace restaurant.

The hotel is 20 kilometres (30 minutes by car without traffic) from Shenyang Taoxian International Airport. It is a 20-minute drive to the two major train stations, which connect Shenyang by high-speed and express trains to other key cities in China. The subway is only a five-minute walk away.
 

DUTIES

 

  • Improve the profitability of every outlet
  • Reduce the costs of every outlet
  • Maintains high quality service 
  • Plan the yearly theme, events and activities
  • Take responsibility for branding, revenue and all the F&B staff
  • Take responsibility of every F&B related contract, inclusive of but not limited to: outlets, actors/actress, suppliers.
  • Enforce the implementation of food safety programs throughout the entire division.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Has a passion for F&B
  • Enjoys interacting with people
  • Must have experience in either a luxury restaurant or a 5* hotel environment
  • Must be a friendly, helpful and trustworthy leader
  • Enjoys interacting with people
  • Communicates and writes with fluency in English and the local language
  • Must be creative and have the ability to lead change
  • Follows the market trends closely
  • Enjoys presenting to the senior leadership team
  • Is self driven, goal oriented, challenges the status quo
  • Upholds professional values, ethics and integrity at all times 
  • Thinks outside of the box
  • Displays curiosity and takes time to learn and understand new culinary trends
