Since SiteMinder’s inception in 2006 we've experienced hyper growth: opening global offices, expanding our product set and increasing our customer base so that we now connect with over 30,000 hotels worldwide.

As part of our growth plan, we have recently created a new business unit, SiteMinder Pay where we have launched a payment product that helps hotels seamlessly process their guest reservation payments. SiteMinder Pay offers hoteliers a unique, integrated payment product that helps save them time and improves the way they run their businesses.

Our newest payment product has been a huge success since it's launch earlier this year and as such we are seeking a Sales Manager to lead our team of Payment Specialists at a strategic and tactical level from our Sydney HQ.

Not only will you ensure the success of the team but you will be instrumental in helping us grow and scale globally.

We are a fun and dedicated team of industry professionals who continually push the boundaries in online distribution technology, sales and customer support. The hoteliers we work with to provide our seamless products are fun and full of great people, running great hotel businesses, that give people great travel experiences.

We have such a great SiteMinder story to tell from our co-founders working in a Sydney rental apartment in 2006 to where we are now, breaking the mould in online distribution.

What a typical week looks like as our Sales Manager:

  • Work directly with Payment Specialists to provide feedback, support, and training: team members will be located both locally and remotely
  • Track sales team metrics and report data to leadership
  • Set team and individuals targets, and forecast on a weekly and monthly cadence
  • Develop sales contests and incentives to drive performance
  • Work with leadership and product teams on opportunities and campaigns to increase leads, improve conversion, or improve product usage rates
  • Manage day-to-day performance of payment specialists toward business targets
  • What skills and experience you require to be successful in the role:
  • You will have previous in a high-performance, high-volume sales environment as a Sales Representative or Sales Manager consistently meeting or exceeding your targets
  • Proven experience effectively mentoring or leading a sales team to success
  • Proven experience using a CRM to manage and forecast sales opportunities
  • You will have solid verbal and written communication skills
  • You are passionate about creating a high-performance sales environment through coaching and mentoring of your team
  • You understand sales funnel metrics and are data driven: you are able to review sales performance data, draw meaningful conclusions, find actionable takeaways, and have data-driven conversations with your team
  • We work in a start up style environment so you will be comfortable with ambiguity: you are excited to grow with us, to help us define, implement and iterate on sales processes, and are comfortable with a changing environment
