At The Walt Disney Studios, you’ll help bring compelling stories to life through film, music and live entertainment.

The position will be responsible for providing both administrative and coordinator-level support to the Studio Distribution, Technology & Operations legal department, directly supporting the Assistant Chief Counsel, Principal Counsel and Senior Manager (heavy phones, calendar maintenance, arrange meetings and conference calls, etc.), as well as providing targeted administrative support to the Paralegal Specialist and the operations legal team (expense reports, ordering supplies, invoice processing, facilities requests etc.). The position will also be responsible for various coordinator-level duties such as: formatting and redlining agreements, creating physical and electronic files, maintaining our contract database and various other similar tasks. Responsibilities
  • Prepare legal comparisons between drafts of documents and redline contracts
  • Facilitate execution of documents
  • Upload and post documents to Disney Documents Online
  • Create department physical and electronic files
  • Maintain contract database
  • Revise and update department process guidebooks and contract notebooks as needed
  • Schedule and coordinate calendars, conference calls and meetings involving individuals in multiple time zones and ensuring timely and effective communications
  • Answer and route phone calls
  • Submit expense reports
  • Provide general office support such as distributing mail, filing, faxing, photocopying, and ordering supplies
  • Provide backup to other assistants and contributing to common administrative duties
Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years administrative experience supporting executives in a corporate legal environment
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to assure successful interaction with all levels of employees and external contacts
  • Proven experience in multi-tasking and working with multiple people and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Skilled in Microsoft Word/Outlook /Excel (current versions)
  • Proficient in SAP Catalog Shopper and T&E functions
  • Previous contract experience; formatting and redlining experience
  • Detail oriented with the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
  • Strong organizational, time management and follow-through skills
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, make decisions and change course of action quickly with limited supervision
  • A cooperative work style, a strong work ethic and a positive attitude, while consistently exercising sound judgment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within The Walt Disney Company or affiliates
