About Tried and Supplied:

Tried and Supplied is a new and exciting start-up in the hospitality industry. Born out of a desire to help chefs innovate more freely with local artisan produce, Tried and Supplied is a searchable database of peer-recommended artisan food and drink suppliers. Our founder has experience selling loose-leaf tea to top hotels and restaurants as well as delivering large-scale digital marketing solutions to major brands. Based between Sloane Square and South Kensington in London, this role offers a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious self-starter to learn and make connections in hospitality.

What we are trying to achieve:

• Gain enough supplier profiles with buyer recommendations to make the search useful to buyers
• Encourage enough buyers to use the site and collect enough data from their usage to be able to deliver demonstrable value to suppliers
• Be in a position to start charging customers by the end of next year

How are we going to achieve this:

• Speak at trade shows
• Visit/call suppliers and buyers
• Organise a Local Chef Award to meet as many suppliers and buyers as possible
• Research to develop a strong sales pipeline
• Email campaigns
• Google Adwords
• Customer management
• Press releases
• Publish a cook book from the Local Chef Awards

Where we need help:

• Research to continually fill sales pipeline
• CRM management
• Email campaigns
• Travel organisation and booking
• Customer management
• Press releases
• Social media
• Google Adwords
• Event organisation
• Creating and publishing the cook book
• User analysis to suggest product improvements
• Bug and product feedback reporting
