Job Summary

The iconic Waldorf Astoria is looking for a Pool Manager at our stunning Las Vegas property!


Located in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip, this luxurious hotel has 389 rooms, 6 food and beverage outlets, and 12,000 square feet of meeting space. These outlets include a 3-meal restaurant, fine dining restaurant, tea lounge, bar, pool cafe, and in-room dining.


In this role, you will oversee the operations of the pool and pool cafe managing a team of 30. The pool is open from March through November so you will have the opportunity to work in other areas of the property along with taking on various projects during the winter season. The Pool Cafe, located on the 8th floor pool deck, offers new American cuisine from traditional and healthy breakfast items to summer salads and delicious American classics.


The ideal candidate will be a high energy leader with the ability to drive the business forward through team development and inspiration, a passion for providing exceptional service, and a keen eye for detail. Prior leadership experience in a luxury hotel is required. Food and beverage leadership experience is a plus.

What will I be doing?


As Pool Manager, you will direct and organize the activities of  the pool to maintain the high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service.

  • Plan and direct the functions of administration and planning of the Pool department to meet the daily needs of the operation.

  • Implement effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards.

  • Help ensure high standards of quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service.

  • Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly

  • Interview, train, supervise, counsel, schedule and evaluate staff.
