- You will learn how to explore innovative business opportunities and maintain a sustainable and profitable business.

- In the first term, students will study Business Research Methods, Hospitality Industry Operations & Trends, and Corporate Finance & Managerial Decision Making. These modules serve as an introduction to good business decision-making. The specialist modules include Innovation Management: Transforming Ideas into Successful Businesses, and Corporate Entrepreneurship for Hospitality and Tourism. They provide students in-depth knowledge to explore new and innovative business opportunities in this growing industry.

- In the second term, students will study Advanced Marketing Management & Strategy, Crisis and Risk Management: Managing in Times of Uncertainty, International Business and Negotiations, Leading Success through Human Capital, and Business Sustainability in Hospitality and Tourism. The modules have been designed to help students set up and maintain a sustainable, profitable business in the face of the sector’s challenges.

With close to 40 years of experience, César Ritz Colleges Switzerland’s (CRCS) academic programmes are based on the core values of sustainable business practices, entrepreneurship and innovation, combined with the philosophies of César Ritz, pioneer of luxury hotels and founder of the famous Ritz hotels. Students in the Bachelor’s programme specialise in hospitality and tourism, in partnership with Washington State University (USA). This programme culminates with the development of a comprehensive and realistic business plan as part of every student’s curriculum. The Master’s programme, accredited by the University of Derby (UK), provides a contemporary curriculum preparing graduates to launch and maintain a sustainable and profitable business within a challenging global environment. Both programmes also benefit from the industry experience shared by our partners such as Ritz Paris and Switzerland Tourism. 

CRCS has three campuses - the historic centre of Lucerne, up in the mountains at Brig and lakeside at Le Bouveret. The Le Bouveret campus is also home to The Mosimann Collection which features a fascinating collection of rare culinary publications, photographs and menus in partnership with world-renowned Chef Anon Mosimann OBE.

As an extra bonus, Le Bouveret and Lucerne students share their campus with Culinary Arts Academy students, This offers hospitality students the opportunity to organise events and develop their hospitality skills alongside future chef entrepreneurs.

- 6 months on campus & a 6 month paid internship worldwide or in Switzerland
- Two intakes a year: April and October
- The degree is awarded in partnership with Derby University (UK)
- The Master of Arts in Entrepreneurship is a comprehensive programme developed in partnership with the University of Derby, UK. The programme provides future hospitality managers with in-depth knowledge to explore innovative business opportunities and maintain a sustainable and profitable business.
