JOB SUMMARY

Provide assistance and support to the Manager, Human Resources in the area compensation and benefits and other human resources functions for Asia Pacific.

 

Compensation & Benefits

  • Assist the Manager, HR on the annual salary increment exercise for all Associates. Assist to manage the whole process till salary increase are effected via payroll
  • Prepare compensation packages proposal and appointment letter for local and Asia Pacific associates
  • Maintain and develop the internal salary range for all positions
  • Assist the Manager, HR to conduct compensation and benefits surveys and help to handle the whole process of salary survey (eg: gather, compile salary data for submission, evaluate each position and ensure there is internal relativity in terms of position class and salary)
  • Interpret and analyse compensation and benefits survey results and make remuneration package recommendations, where applicable
  • Work closely with HR consulting firms or recruitment agency for annual local salary surveys and job pricing exercise
  • Handles the tax clearance process for foreign employees, such as prepare the IR21 form and submit to IRAS
  • Payroll calculation for associate who are being terminated or resigned and handle the final payment arrangement

 

Payroll and HRIS Administration

  • Maintenance of all associates personal details in HR systems  
  • Maintenance of all associates leave application and records under e-portal and EPE e.g. leave amendment, leave record and others and ensure that Associates’ leave are accurate and up to date
  • Liaise with EPE vendor on the system maintenance issue, e.g. system initialization for the year, calendar setup, and others system breakdown issues
  • Work Pass application/renewal/appeal and termination
  • Closing of monthly OT payment for payroll processing
  • Submit/Application/Appeal Maternity Claim, Child Care Leave Claim, National Service Claim, Citrep Claim, SDF Claim 
  • Handle staff insurance renewals and administration (Workmen’s compensation, Hospitalization insurance, Personal Accident Insurance, calculate premium and work closely with the insurer broker on insurance package and ensure that all invoices billing are correct
  • Handle Associates’ insurance claim for hospitalization and ensure that associates get their cheque reimbursement
  • Handling travel insurance and SOS insurance for frequent travellers
  • Handling Survey from Ministry of Manpower i.e. Labour Market Survey and Survey on Annual Wage Changes
  • Review and updates of HR Policies and Procedures
  • Process Year End closing of leave & benefits entitlement
  • Monitor Long Service Leave entitlement update on the system

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Education and Related Experience
  • Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management
  • Incumbent must have between 2 to 4 years in a similar capacity
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HR practices and principles
  • Conversant in local labor law/legislations
