We have a job opening for a Meeting & Events Operational Executive who wants to join as from
September 2019 a loyal, energetic and enthusiastic team.
You will responsible for Meeting Success in the Crowne Plaza Meeting, Conference and Event segment.

Key responsibilities
• You are the primary point of contact for event organizers as from the signing of the contract, as well as during and after the event. It will be your responsibility to make sure everyting runs flawless and smoothly.
• You will be the intermediate between the client and the teams involved.
• You will spend 70% of your time on pre- & post-event administration. 30% of your time will be dedicated to checking if all the client’s requests have been met (meeting room set up, timings, last minute changes, ...).
• Ensure that all client requirements have been confirmed and that these details are accurately and thoroughly communicated in time to the hotel operation team.
• Ensure effective and productive coordination and service delivery with AV supplier.
• Ensure regular client contact when meetings/events are in-house through Daily Meetings
• Debrief, and ensure that all hotel operational details are executed correctly.
• Ensure correct and accurate billing and confirm with client upon conclusion of event.
• Follow up with client to obtain event feedback and identify further business opportunities.
• Ensure client feedback is communicated, followed up internally and manage any possible issues with clients within 24 hours.
• Have a good knowledge of competitor activities to ensure our product and services are ahead of competition. In conjunction with the Meeting & Events Operational Supervisor, provide creative input to meetings
• Support the Sales team during site inspections.
• Product Development to maintain our unique services and to develop innovative product and revenue opportunities.

Su di te

Ideally you have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role in the hospitality sector or you have background in event management. However, we also welcome junior profiles so we can help you grow in your preferred field of expertise. You have excellent communications skills, written & oral proficiency in English and French. A good knowledge of Dutch is a plus. You have profound computer skills (Windows and MS Office) and preferably you already worked with Opera Sales & Catering. Other plusses are knowledge of the Brussels’ hotel market and IHG systems. We want you to know to be results-driven, but also being customer relationship oriented. You are able to provide solutions, work under pressure and within tight deadlines. You are a team player, you are willing to learn and you can adapt easily to changes. Last but not least, you have a keen eye for detail and you can manage several tasks at the same time.
