This is an exciting time with this new full service upscale hotel to enter the Adelaide market. Comprising of 329 guest rooms, the hotel restaurant, bars, feature pool, gymnasium and large restaurant are located on level 10. There is a dedicated function centre on level 2 with four versatile function rooms and kitchen. The owner will manage the building car park and ground floor retail spaces. The business mix will be varied with domestic & international leisure (Individual & Groups), Corporate & Government (Intra & Interstate) and MICE residential, day meetings and social events.
Your day to day
As Sales & Marketing Coordinator you will work report directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing and support them in the successful operation of the Sales & Marketing Department. You will partner with the Assistant Director of Sales and Marketing Executive to work on both day to day tasks and projects to drive awareness and revenue generation activities for both rooms, conference space, restaurants and bars. You will actively promote the Hotel and brand through community and professional involvement and will contribute to a positive and productive work environment. This role is expected to commence in late March 2020.
What we need from you
The ideal candidate will bring a A bachelor of Hotel, Business/Sales or Event Management or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience would be an advantage. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are critical as well as outstanding time management and attention to detail. Experience in a hotel environment would be an advantage and the aspiration to develop further within hotel sales or marketing will be key.
