  • Acting as a lead engineer, work with business and technology cast members to engineer and estimate analytic and data science-centric information solutions that support desired business and technical capabilities / requirements
  • Develop prototype-scale solutions achieving success through the application of machine learning, optimization, deep learning, algorithmic, and statistical techniques across diverse problem sets and domains
  • Serve as a trusted advisor with business and technology stakeholders – garnering support and partnerships in alignment with the solution vision and analytic initiatives
  • Support project delivery teams through the articulation and scaling of defined models and readiness of associated data assets towards production releases
  • Design and implement data technology and analytic prototyping, proof-of-concept (POC), and solution prescriptions across emerging platforms
  • Produce artifacts in support of reference architecture advocacy and implementation, including authoring documentation, white papers, and presentations/diagrams for dissemination to technical and business audiences
  • Proactively look for opportunities to align technology as an enabler for business needs and capabilities (e.g., identify need advanced analytics, etc)
  • Perform research for best practices in predictive analytics and data management in support of the information management technology roadmap and proactively share this information as applicable with other members of the team
  • Direct associated initiative discussions and decisions towards productive and relevant dialogues while eliminating ambiguity and contributing towards end state deliverable success
Basic Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience developing data, analytic, and machine / deep learning solutions with demonstrated exposure to Hadoop and Spark-based storage and compute platforms
  • Full-lifecycle ML modeling experience including: train/rest data selection & segregation, feature engineering, cross validation, model parameter tuning and optimization techniques, and ongoing model performance evaluation
  • Demonstrate development knowledge with ML focused APIs in Python, R, Scala, and/or Java
  • Ability to become an established and trusted advisor with business and technology audiences along with the ability to present technical concepts and solutions to both business and technology stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to deconstruct business problems into actionable predictive analytic patterns
  • Curiosity and objectivity in the approach to problem solving and analytic initiatives
  • Proven ability to leverage and integrate technology components into an overall solution architecture in support of business requirements
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Data Architecture, Data Warehousing, Advanced Analytic, or Data Science implementations
  • Demonstrated analytic insight delivery experience across all tiers in the solutioning of information management solutions – from data sourcing to end-state delivery / consumption
  • Disciplined approach to the development and delivery of analytic technology solutions
  • Proven ability to drive and influence change through innovation & process improvement
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • 4 - 6 years experience in statistical and predictive analytic or machine learning methodologies required (including: regression, classification, forecasting, time-series analysis, and ML-centric solutioning)
  • 4+ or more years software development experience in Python, R, Scala, and/or Java
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in development using open source data science and analytic technologies and techniques (including Python (and scikit libraries), Spark, TensorFlow, etc)
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in Very Large Data Warehousing and/or Advanced Analytics using massively parallel (MPP) database platforms (such as Teradata, Netezza, etc)
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in data preparation, cleansing, ETL / ELT and/or use of advanced SQL techniques
