This role reports to the Technology Business Management (TBM) Director, Portfolio Management and is responsible for defining the Technology Resource Capacity strategy. The objective is to define resource requirements necessary to meet the Five Year and Annual Operating and Capital Plans. This leader will partner with Technology Leaders, Walt Disney Attractions Technology (WDAT) Investment Planning teams and TBM Resource Managers to understand future investments and ensure WDAT has the necessary Cast, Vendor, Facility and assets to deliver business investments. This position is responsible for providing detailed analysis, forecast and modeling to align projects, programs, and key business and technology strategies to resource plans in order to identify and address gaps.

This position is also responsible for defining the strategy and executing monthly technology vendor accruals, PO creation and invoicing processing for WDAT. As part of this activity the leader will be responsible for verifying SOW funding and routing of approvals. Responsibilities
  • Define, establish, and implement WDAT resource capacity management
  • Proactively collaborate with investment planners and technology leaders to understand investment requirements and resource needs.
  • Appropriately model one, three and five year vendor, cast and facility strategies
  • Partner with delivery, TBM and staff groups to resolve current resource constraints as they arise
  • Create and provide resource and capacity reporting to support technology leaders and TBM resource teams
  • Create and manage process for PO creation and invoicing processing for technology
  • Verify funding for SOW and routing of approvals
Basic Qualifications
  • 7+ yrs. experience successfully defining and implementing resource, portfolio and finance management strategies
  • 3+ yrs. experience in business/financial analysis or project management with capacity and resource planning
  • 3+ yrs. building high performing teams in a planning and analysis capacity
  • Experience directly controlling $100M+ Technology Portfolio and $250M+ P&L
  • Proven experience partnering and influencing technology, finance and business leaders to achieve objectives.
  • Experience with resource and financial modeling
  • Experience managing direct reports
  • Strong understanding of Vendor, Cast and Facilities management
Required Education
  • BS or BA degree or equivalent
