We are looking for a Front Office Supervisor to join our team at Double Tree by Hilton London – Hyde Park. DoubleTree by Hilton London – Hyde Park is a 4 star stylish, newly refurbished hotel. We are set in a fabulous location, opposite Kensington Palace and just minutes from Bayswater, Queensway and Notting Hill Gate stations.
About the role:
As a Front Office Supervisor you will play a key part in delivering prompt exceptional customer service to our internal and external guests in order that the most professional and caring imagine is portrayed at all times.
Your duties will include:
•To ensure all guests on their arrival receive a warm welcome and are assisted in a courteous, helpful manner with registration and when checking out of the hotel;
•Ensure room sales are maximised by dealing with all inquiries/chance guest/sales leads in accordance with procedures set in the Reception standard operating procedures manual;
•To be able to take a reservation in the absence of the reservations team, ensuring all information is correctly recorded on to the reservation form;
•Seek verbal feedback from customers on a regular basis (resolve promptly guest or customer complaints ) and respond to all guest queries in a timely and efficient manner;
•Ensure a very high level of customer service is constantly maintained for reception and lobby area ;
•To ensure all guest accounts are posted with correct charges and having the correct supporting documents;
•To attend all training, as required and maintain good communication and work relationships in all hotel areas;
•Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation;
•Duty Manager Shifts

We are looking for an enthusiastic, positive and capable individual with a passion for customer service, and who will be able to work as part of an ambitious and dynamic team. As a Front Office Supervisor, you are always working on behalf of our guests and working with other team members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
•Previous supervisory/managerial experience in Front Office is essential or at least 2 years as receptionist;
•Ability to listen and respond to demanding guest needs;
•Strong problem resolution skills;
•Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills;
•Accountable and resilient;
•Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service;
•Ability to work under pressure;
•Flexibility to respond to a variety of different work situations;
•High level of IT proficiency;
•OnQ knowledge is desirable but not essential;
