Cook 3, Regular Full-Time
This position will prepare food items per guest orders of consistent quality following recipe cards, as well as production, portion, and presentation standards; complete mis en place and set-up station for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner service. They will be responsible for starting food items that are prepared ahead of time, making sure not prepare beyond estimated needs. The Cook 3 will be responsible for operating, maintaining and properly cleaning of all kitchen equipment including but not limited to; deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron and flat top grill.
Cook 3 skills and qualifications needed; One year culinary or related work experience and basic culinary knowledge is expected for this position, high school education, cooking school or culinary institute education or equivalent experience, proficient knife skills and ability to multi-task.
A successful candidate will have a flexible schedule, ability to work morning, afternoon, or evening shifts, weekends, and holidays. Must be fluent in English and possess legal work authorization in the United States.
