The role of Coordinator, Corporate Communications offers the opportunity to contribute towards strategic communications on behalf of one of the world’s leading luxury hospitality companies. Working in the fast-paced, dynamic environment of Four Seasons global headquarters, the Coordinator will gain exposure to Four Seasons global operations, support the strategy and global communications for new project announcements and join a a diverse team that manages and drives communications strategy for one of world’s leading luxury brands.  

As a member of Four Seasons Corporate Communications team, the Coordinator will input on corporate positioning, brand announcements, and strategic initiatives to strengthen the Four Seasons brand globally. The Coordinator will work closely with top tier global media as well as Four Seasons executives and external partners to support critical corporate announcements. Working closely with the Manager, Corporate Communications, the Coordinator will also support crisis communications and issues management globally.

The ideal candidate will be a passionate and creative writer with an interest in strategic communications, possessing strong analytical skills and exceptional judgment.  They will be positive, flexible, and a self-starter – open to new challenges and a strong team player. A keen eye for detail, ability to work under tight deadlines, superb professionalism and strong project management skills are essential.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional gravitas and ability to work closely with and counsel senior executives
  • Experience in  media relations and corporate communications programming  
  • Experience in  crisis communications and risk assessment
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and extremely tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Strong copyediting skills (fact-checking, grammar, punctuation)
  • Exceptional technical skills, including superior Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, and OneDrive skills
  • Strong PowerPoint skills a must
  • Working with Cision and other media monitoring partners considered an asset
  • Strong team player
  • Positive attitude and high degree of flexibility, resourcefulness, energy and creativity


  • University or college degree; graduate degree preferred
  • Completion of a Public Relations, Marketing Communications or related degree / certificate program preferred

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a corporate communications role preferably in an agency or corporate environment, including direct engagement with senior executives and top tier global media

Position Overview:

Corporate Positioning/Project Announcements/New Openings

  • Develop media relations strategies and messaging to support key company platforms
  • Conduct research into emerging markets, current events, and trends and innovations within the hospitality and luxury industries to inform corporate messaging
  • Lead the development of press releases, and messaging documents to support company objectives, campaigns, initiatives, project announcement and new openings
  • Work with senior leaders across Four Seasons global operations and legal teams, support ongoing development of materials to support COVID-19 recovery efforts and communications
  • Support the Corporate Communications teams efforts on input into corporate editorial
  • Support internal and external stakeholder management to secure strategic positioning and design briefs for new announcements and imminent openings
  • Maintain and disseminate list of publicly announced projects and key project details
  • Support Corporate and Regional Marketing teams on new openings information requests
  • Prepare media responses to new project/project pipeline requests

Executive Interviews

  • Research and develop comprehensive briefing notes for senior executives
  • Work across a network of global agency partners and media to coordinate interview logistics
  • Proctor media interviews

Crisis Communications

  • Support Manager, Corporate Communications, Vice President, Corporate Public Relations and global portfolio with crisis management and development of crisis communications materials
  • Work closely with the Corporate Social Media Team and external crisis agency partners to monitor and evaluate social media issues in real time

Awards and Accolades

  • Work with agency partners to lead the development of press releases and internal announcements as required
  • Manage global awards tracker, briefing senior leaders as required
  • Lead the development of biannual summary and analysis of key brand awards and accolades
