The ability to observe uniform and dress standards on a daily basis. The ability to dry clean and piece up garments and required (e.g. late/urgent orders, left-over orders). The ability to assist in delivering guest laundry and dry cleaning. The ability to answer telephone calls and record such phone calls when required. The ability to liaise with uniform regarding requirements, and schedule workload accordingly. The ability to supervise collection and preparation of uniforms for cleaning. The ability to assist in the production of uniforms according to Four Seasons Standards. The ability to complete production sheet each night. The ability to ensure adequate staffing levels for each shift. The ability to maintain adequate chemical levels in machines. The ability to know and understand all Valet machinery methods. The ability to understand posting procedures on the computer and manually. The ability to follow – up guest request and guest complaints. The ability to adhere to all safety standards requirements, and ensure all staff as specified by the Four Seasons. The ability to ensure that no employees are ever started on any piece of equipment or work area without prior and adequate safety training. The ability to control the quality and quantity the linen being dispatched to customers and ensure that standards and procedures are adhered to. The ability to have an awareness and ability to implement all procedures in place, including stock take, discards, rewash and dispatch. The ability to ensure that all Laundry/Valet areas of work are maintained in a clean and orderly manner. The ability to take full responsibility in the absence of the Laundry Valet Manager. The ability to communicate with Engineering in case of any equipment malfunction. The ability to follow proper payroll, uniform and key procedures. The ability to follow Lost and Found procedures. The ability to make recommendations and follow through on conflict resolution, coaching and counseling, and, when appropriate, disciplinary action for assigned staff. The ability to provide excellent guest service in all areas of responsibility. The ability to coordinate work orders in assigned areas and follow up on inspections. The ability to assist maintaining a high level of employee morale. The ability to perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff. The ability to do performance appraisals, train and discipline the staff. The ability to show good customer relations (greetings guests, handling guest complaints, and offering any assistance possible).
