The Role of People & Culture Generalist
The People & Culture Generalist is an integral part of the People & Culture Department. From the recruitment and selection process to orientation, training, benefits administration, communication and overall employee relations, People & Culture is there for all employees, every day. As representatives of the strong Four Seasons Culture that has made our brand the Gold Standard in luxury hospitality, the People and Culture team sets the tone for a best-in-class employee experience. The People & Culture Generalist is the first smiling face employees and applicants meet upon entering into the People & Culture Office. This position assists with general employee and applicant inquiries, handles all incoming calls, provides employment verifications, processes a variety of reports, maintains all general employment files, and assists with a variety of employee events and initiatives in addition to other administrative duties. The People & Culture Generalist handles every task with integrity and confidentiality. This highly visible role also provides administrative support to People & Culture team as a whole.
Knowledge and Skills
We are looking for an individual who poses an affinity for people service! Our employees are our internal guests and the ideal candidate will thrive in an environment of connection and communication. Candidates must have excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills. We are also looking for individuals who possess a high proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Power Point. (Working knowledge of HRIS systems would be advantageous, but not required.) The ability to possess a high level of professionalism and integrity while maintaining the confidentiality of the office is essential. Applicants must also have a high attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any request!
