Grand Hyatt Muscat is seeking an accomplished Director of Sales & Marketing to provide key leadership and strategic direction that will drive results across both the corporate and leisure segments. This iconic property is set on the shores of the Arabian Sea and boasts 280 classically-appointed rooms as well as an array of dining experiences from casual Sports Bar vibes to fine dining Italian. In addition, Grand Hyatt Muscat is the host of some of the largest conference and convention facilities within the city and hence, providing the Sales & Marketing team with every opportunity to drive key business outcomes.
This key leadership role requires a creative, experienced and inspirational leader with exceptional interpersonal skills and high level of emotional intelligence to adjust to varied contexts and client needs. Demonstrated business acumen with a strong desire to succeed is a must in order to achieve the ambitious targets that have been set for Grand Hyatt Muscat.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a similar role in reputable five star luxury hotels, and displays strong traits in the following areas:
- Advanced knowledge of both sales and marketing functions with a minimum five years’ experience
- A team player with an entrepreneurial mindset, who is not afraid to challenge the status quo, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and who shows a high level of creativity and passionate for what they do
- A dynamic leadership style with exceptional communication, interpersonal and decision making skills
- A caring and engaging leader with an evident passion for coaching, mentoring and fostering collaboration across all teams
- Demonstrated experience in developing comprehensive marketing and public relations plans and initiatives, in support of all promotional activities for all revenue streams for the Hotel
