Description of the job:
We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to join our friendly team, work alongside the bar team and
develop the service style.

About us:
Henrietta Hotel is the first hotel in London from Experimental Group (Compagnie des Vins Surnaturels,
Experimental Cocktail Club Chinatown). Established in 2017 in the heart of Covent Garden, the hotel is composed of 18 rooms. At the end of 2020, 22 brand new rooms will be available across the street.
The restaurant, Henrietta Bistro, 90 covers, is launching a new concept inspired by Italian cuisine.

Supported by the Executive chef, you will be in charge of running the kitchen team and ensure a smooth
service in a day-to-day operation.
We will expect from you, cooperation but also autonomy and creativity to develop the new cuisine concept.

About you:
• Experience of running your own section in a professional kitchen
• Be passionate about for food and wine industry
• Culinary school diploma
• Knowledge of best cooking practices
• Have a team spirit
• Creative skills
• Attention to details and customer needs
• Ability to multitask
• Good leadership, organizational and management skills
• Problem solving skills
• Fluent level of English
• The ability to overcome any food production problems
• Proof of eligibility to work in the UK

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Coordinating with restaurant management team on supply ordering, budget, and kitchen efficiency
and staffing
• Ensuring the consistent smooth running of each food section
• Ensuring effective control of stock purchasing, receipt, storage, preparation and service with regard
to quality and quantity.
• Maintaining a high level of food quality and production with the aim of exceeding our guest’s
• Ensuring that the food operations are controlled in order to reach the desired cost of sales,
maximizing potential and optimizing resources.
• Ensuring that all Health and Safety regulations are adhered and applied
• Organizing orders, deal and maintain cooperation with suppliers
• Recruiting, training, motivating and managing team
• Completing the staff rotas
• Planning menu , creating new dishes which are both innovative and profitable
