Job Summary
Hilton Orlando is looking for a talented Pastry Chef to join this award winning team!
Three time recipient of the coveted Hilton "Connie Award," Best Hilton Hotel in the Americas, this gorgeous property boasts 1,424 rooms, 7 food & beverage outlets and over 249,000 square feet of meeting space.
In this role, you will oversee the baking and pastry program for all the food and beverage outlets and banquets across the property managing a team 10 culinarians and reporting directly to the Executive Chef.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader with a passion for driving creativity and a talent for developing others. At least 2-4 years of pastry chef experience with a background in hotels is required.

What will I be doing?
As a Pastry Chef, you will oversee pastry production for all outlets on property. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Create/prepare/produce/bake breads, rolls, breakfast pastries and desserts according to standard recipes for restaurants and banquets.
Decorate pastries/cakes with creativity and skill.
Maintain adequate supply of all prepared products on hand and ensures the proper storage.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards.
Train, supervise, schedule and assist in evaluating staff.
