Planning & Forecast ManagerAt a Glance
The Planning & Forecasting Manager is responsible for monthly forecasting and monthly tracking of Bedbank business performance against forecast and budget, to provide visibility on Bedbank performance and to support more commercially driven and better informed decision making processes.Key responsibilities
Lead the creation of predictive forecasting tools leveraging advanced analytics to project based on past trends, seasonality effects and input from analysis and market insight Lead monthly review and understanding of performance against forecasts and against budget, analyzing reasons behind deviations and pro-actively identifying risks and opportunities Leads communication with financial department related to month-closing figures and monthly forecasting updates Coordinates the elaboration of ad-hoc reports following requests from other teams, both within and outside Commercial Strategy functionCandidate profile
- Degree in Business Administration /Engineering / Mathematics or similar - MBA from a recognized Business School is desirable - Strong analytical, numerical and problem solving skills required, strong attention to detail - Strong presentation, verbal and written communication are required; able to interpret, summarize and present complex data sets from multiple sources clearly to senior stakeholders; able to influence business partner’s decisions - Advanced Excel & Power Point skills required - Experience managing and developing people. Coaching skills and ability to train, lead and motivate team members - Fluent in English - 5+ years of related experience. Experience in quantitative analysis is desirable - Results-oriented, dynamic individual with hands-on mentality - Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging environment - Able to lead and influence change, manage conflicting priorities and multiple projects and activities in a demanding and rapidly changing business environment - Ability to build strong working relationships, create networks and influence; proactive in engaging with the business - Very proactive, take initiative and solve problems with minimal supervisionCompany overview
