Perfectly located in blissful countryside and surrounded by 30,000 square metres of beautiful hotel grounds and semi-tropical gardens, Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz features 140 elegant rustic rooms and suites as well as a range of distinctive dining venues for all occasions and tastes.
As a Kitchen Trainee you will have the opportunity to build up a solid understanding of Kitchen operations within the luxury hospitality environment. You will gain exposure to various subsections of the Kitchen and learn about different types of cuisine.
Preparing ingredients for menu items
Preparing simple food items and food for service
Assisting with checking, receiving and storing of goods
Supporting the kitchen team in ensuring smooth procedures
HACCP is implemented and practiced
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous Kitchen Experience
- Ability to communicate well at all levels
- Proactive approach with a high level of initiative and willingness to learn
- Well spoken and written English
- Eligibility to work in European Union is a MUST (i.e. only European Union citizens can be considered, as work permit is not provided for this position)
