About the role
Reporting to the Store Manager, you will ensure the service, people development, merchandising, and operational functions of the store are kept to a high standard while also maintaining the SEPHORA values and culture. The ASM will play a critical role in shaping the employee experience and will be accountable for elevating team behaviours and shaping employee engagement within store.Your key duties include:

  •  Achieving store KPIs and profitability targets
  •  Train, delegate to, and supervise management team members
  •  Performance management alongside the Store Manager
  •  Coaching and development of team members
  •  Ensure that SEPHORA’s merchandising concepts are set up and maintained at all times
  •  Demonstrate and model client service and on floor leadership standards
  • Ensure compliance with all SEPHORA policies and procedures

Skills and experience required

The ASM will be an empathetic and commercially astute leader with a clear understanding of and focus on team member coaching and development.

  • Previous experience in a management role in a fast paced, high volume retail sales environment
  • Strong leadership skills with an ability to build and foster a positive team culture
  • Strategic thinking while being hands on and leading by example
  • A history of exceeding sales targets and KPI’s
  • A commitment to working a seven day rotating shift roster which may include weekends, before and after store hours and evenings
