About the role
As a Department Manager (Senior Beauty Advisor) working closely with the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager, your role is to demonstrate Sephora attitude, implement floor management, supervise customer service quality and drive store KPIs and targets. Your duties will include:

• Act as an extension to the store management team to manage team performance through coaching cast members on premium client service and sales techniques
• Serve as an escalation point for clients and cast member matters and confidently make store operation decisions during core hours
• Promote a high level of customer service and recommend suitable products to clients after undertaking a comprehensive understanding of their needs.
• Hold  morning team briefings

Skills and experience required

• Previous experience in a similar role in a fast paced, high volume retail sales environment
• Strong leadership skills with an ability to build and foster a positive team culture
• Strategic thinking while being hands on and leading by example
• A history of exceeding sales targets and KPI’s
• A commitment to working a seven day rotating shift roster which may include weekends, before and after store hours and evenings
