PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Increase market share for fragrance, make-up and skincare on the UK + Ir markets while enhancing Givenchy’s awareness on the market.
To be successful, the marketing manager will need to work closely with the sales team to deliver sell-out oriented 360 activations that engage each retailer.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

1.    Contribute to define, plan and implement the brand ambition 

- Contribute to build the strategy for the brand (3YP) with the Marketing Director 
- Owner of the marketing plan and trade plan to coordinate all retailers actions with sales team
- Lead the forecast on three categories in line with brand ambition 

KPIs: forecast accuracy, level of leftovers, reaction vs market change

2.    Lead the category growth for Fragrance and MU in the UK and Ireland markets 

- Work on category and franchise ambition (Full Year and Phased)
- Grow the category by successfully launching new products while maintaining the existing portfolio
- Lead from creation to implementation impactful 360 activation to disrupt the market
- Perfect execution of all actions in order to ensure brand elevation

KPIs: MS + Ranking 

3.    Marketing budget 

-    Manage marketing budget across three axes with marketing director, including marketing spendings, POSM, central merchandising. 

KPI: budget landing in line with target

4.    Management of a team

- Manage two Junior product managers, one for fragrance and one for beauty (make-up and skincare)
- Coordinate with a product manager in charge of brand analysis

KPI: developing the JPMs into a PM 

Accountable for – managing 2 Junior Product managers (1 Fragrance + 1 Beauty)

1. Implement new product launches and strive to maintain growth on icons within the category/pillars

- Establish the marketing plan with Marketing Manager 
- Develop the launch strategy (360° platform) and animation theme that will lead the visual execution and message across all levers activated
- Lead launch projects with all departments 

2. Develop promotional and trade marketing plan for the category/pillars; work closely with VM and Sales teams to ensure smooth and consistent implementation

- Design with Marketing Manager and Commercial team the trade plan to support key trading peaks / launches
- Brief and act as interface for Training, BCs, Merchandising and PR Departments to ensure translation of 360 marketing plan to the field-force, merchandising guidelines, and digital/e-retail execution – and validate the design with Marketing Director
- Work closely with Sales & Field team to maximize local events for category, and ensure in-store execution is consistent with the brand’s image and philosophy
- Brief and work closely with Marketing Intern(s) to ensure all projects are well communicated, delivered on time and perfectly executed

3. Manage budget and ensure sales forecasts accuracy for category

- Ensure that all activities are carried out with budget parameter as agreed with Marketing Director
- In charge of the POSM & Collateral trackers, and meticulous attention to PO raising
- Ensure adequate stock coverage for all category items (products, samples, testers, GWPs)
- Work with Sales and Operation on: forecasts of basic & new initiatives / correct phasing in line with our NPD (sell out) ambitions and priorities / quota management

Profil

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Key Competencies/Technical Skills: 

Highly organised team player 
Strong attention to detail
Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent proof-reading skills
English mother tongue (ideal); bilingual necessary

Profile: 

5-6 years operational marketing experience, preferably in UK Beauty market.
Passion for Beauty.
Digital-integrated approach.
Degree Educated.
