Duties and Responsibilities

  • To consistently achieve the service and product delivery standards with a high degree of client care and service at all times.
  • To demonstrate a pride in workplace and a high-level commitment.
  • Support company’s philosophy and company culture through the use of Pillars and Legendary Quality Experiences on a daily basis to ensure Guest Satisfaction and the achievement of our Mission Statement.
  • Provide excellent service at all time to all of our guest.
  • Assist Guest courteously and efficiently
  • Creates special conversations with guests, which identifies personal preferences in order to record in each guest’s profile history
  • Is knowledgeable of all in-house and arriving guests.
  • Is aware of all airport pick up and tracks and informs team where necessary
  • Is aware of all daily events and functions in the hotel.
  • Well groomed, maintain appropriate standards to Discipline, Hygiene, Appearance, Posture and Attitude
  • Maintains congenial relationship within Front Office Department as well as other departments in the hotel
  • Deliver courteous services to guests, respond promptly and tactfully to guest complaints, requests and inquiries at all times
  • Always address guests by name appropriately
  • To be familiar with all with all hotel facilities and services. Actively sell the in-house facilities and services to guests
  • Ensures that all Transfer for Departure and Arrival are properly administrated, Cars are ready and at the guest disposal at the correct time
  • To adhere the policies, procedures by the Learning and Development Department or the Department’s Manager
  • To carry out any other duties and responsibility related to the job assign Head Concierge or Front Office Manager that may consider suitable to the skills of the individual and necessary to the success of the hotel
  • Initiate contact with guests entering the hotel
  • . Approach guests needing assistance
  • Be familiar with the entire room product including IT&T equipment
  • Deliver messages, packages and facsimiles within 10 minutes of receipt
  • Actively listen and communicate specific guest request accurately to the Porter, Reception and PBX colleagues to ensure complete follow up
  • Recording all luggage in and out and ensures that it is delivered in correct time
  • Offer guest an attentive firewall, which will not end until the vehicle, (Lilo, taxi) has pulled away from the curb
  • Maintain cleanliness of luggage store room
  • Daily inventory off all luggage in store room
  • Organize the delivery or pick up of items outside the hotel as required by guest
  • Ensure the correct amount of newspaper are being ordered
  • Handling of email correspondence and any specific arrangement guests may have


 

Requirements :

  • 2 years Concierge experience in a luxury hotel in Jakarta.
  • Being a member of Clefs d’Or would be an advantage.
  • Able to communicate written and spoken English and Indonesian.
  • Excellent overall communication skills.
  • Outgoing and enthusiastic personality.
  • Able to multi-task and work under pressure.
  • The ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be professional and possess excellent presentation, organization, and effective time management skills.
  • Must have very strong knowledge of the restaurants, bars, nightclubs, theatres and attractions in Jakarta.
  • Flexible schedules and working hours; willingness to work weekends & holidays required.
  • Knowledge of computers and systems, preferably Springer Miller Systems and InfoGenesis.
  • Successful problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership skills and ability to motivate his/her team.
  • Excellent overall proactive communication skills.
  • Possess high degree of stamina, agility and flexibility.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Outgoing and enthusiastic personality.
