About the Role
 
As the Marketing Communications Executive, you will be responsible for all Marketing, PR and Communication activities for Park Hyatt Melbourne ensuring brand standards are met consistently and retained for all print and digital collateral. You will work with the regional E-Commerce team to ensure maximum digital exposure, both online and via social sites.
 
Working in a dynamic team, you will support the Director of Sales and Marketing in the day to day operations as well as supporting the team to achieve our purpose.
 
This varied and hands on role provides a chance to develop your Hospitality career within an international company; either in Australia or overseas.  


Qualifications
Some of the responsibilities include:
  • Implement effective communication strategies in relation to hotel collateral and publications
  • Manage Park Hyatt Melbourne’s public relations and global brand image in the market place
  • Manage all internal and external graphics related to the hotel
  • Build strong relationships at all levels across a diverse cross-functional environment
  • Develop and annual communications plan and budget for inclusion in hotels annual business plan
  • Manage all enquiries relating to promotional and sponsorship requests
  • Manage all digital and social media platform communications and marketing initiatives
  • Ensure press activities are collected and reviewed monthly
  • Coordinate the writing, editing and proofreading of all Sales & Marketing collateral in print and digital form
  • Work closely with the Regional E-Commerce team to manage the annual media budget and delivery
Qualifications
  • University qualifications in Business, Hospitality or Sales and Marketing
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a five-star hotel or, similar fast-paced environment
  • An engaged and results driven achiever with strong influencing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills
  • Highly motivated, solutions-orientated self-starter with adaptable teamwork styles
  • Excellent writing & presentation skills
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong background in public relations and online marketing management
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into profitable action
  • Strategic orientation with the know how to problem solve under pressure
  • Ability to create a positive first impression with an understanding of the importance of five-star grooming standards
