Richemont – Head of Retail Back Office and Internal Controls

How will you make an impact? 

  • You will lead Richemont UK’s Retail Back-Office and Internal Control department, ensuring that key control objectives for Richemont Brands internal retail operations are met in terms of revenue recognition; safeguarding of cash, inventory and other assets; compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and Group rules; ensuring all aspects of retail and ecommerce compliance are met; adequate control environment is in place, internal control issues are monitored and remediation plans are followed.
  • You will establish a culture of open communication and collaboration between team members, promote the general well-being of team members and prepare development plans for the team members
  • You will liaise with local Brands retail management on daily operational matters and on process improvements. You will also coordinate with Richemont Europe and Group internal control teams on compliance matters and policies


How will you experience success with us? You will:

  • Come from a Finance / Auditing background with strong emphasis on internal control, plus you will have extensive relevant experience in a similar role
  • Have a strong interest in luxury goods business. Retail experience is a plus
  • Be detail oriented, good in prioritization, thorough and quick, curious, problem solver, with strong analytical skills, process oriented, able to analyse, dissect and optimize business processes
  • Possess very strong MS Excel skills
  • Have prior experience with SAP or similar ERP/accounting system
  • Be commercial aware and focused on solutions, including not being afraid of experimenting and exploring  unusual avenues
  • Be a supportive and team player, able to lead by example
  • Be able to work well under pressure in a fast-changing multicultural environment
