COMPANY INTRODUCTION
Located in Shanghai New Bund International Business District, Shangri-La Qian Tan, Shanghai is within walking distance of the New Bund Center and the New Bund Taikoo Li. It is also conveniently located near the sports, leisure, business, retail, international school, healthcare facilities and residential area in Qian Tan.

Leveraging on the developmental plans of Shanghai New Bund International Business District, the new Shangri-La hotel will be an ideal venue for meetings and events, plus offer the places for both a relaxed stay and inspirational experiences for locals and travelers alike.
 
We are looking for Front Office Manager, we rely on you to:

  • In responsible to ensure the proper, efficient, and profitable functioning of the departments under his/her purview in accordance with the objectives, performance and quality standards established by Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts.
  • Meets up with guests regularly to obtain feedback on ways to improve the Hotel’s services and facilities.
  • Handles guest complaints promptly and efficiently, in the best interest of the Hotel.
  • Motivates and ensures staff perform to the service level required, maximizing total customer loyalty as well as positive overall stay experience. 
  • Provides training on standards and procedures for the Front Office Department.
  • Conducts frequent employee dialogue & department meetings to ensure employee loyalty is high, employees are satisfied and committed.
  • Supports and is actively involved in the Fire & Life Safety, Security and Preventive Maintenance Program.

 

We are looking for someone who:

  • Takes pride in being a hotelier.
  • Loves interacting with guests from all backgrounds.
  • Communicates and writes with fluency in English (and local language) due to the needs for servicing local and international guests. 
  • Preferably has relevant experience with an international 5* hotel group.
  • Enjoys coming up with best fit solutions. 
  • Is a friendly, helpful, and trustworthy leader.
  • Must be detail-focused and guest-oriented.
  • Has no fear of challenges.
