We are currently looking for a Desktop Administrator to provide technical support of the IT infrastructure to SLIM Hong Kong office and Senior Management Office.

 

As a Desktop Administrator, we will rely on you to:

  • Support on end user computing (Anti-Virus, security patch update, OS upgrade, software version upgrade)

  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies in office automation and end user computing software.

  • Work with vendor to provide computer hardware maintenance support

  • Maintain and administer Active Directory and Company Email 

  • Provide support on video conferencing and AV facilities in meeting rooms

  • Technical support mobile devices and remote VPN access

  • Provide help desk support including users who are working on the road

  • Manage software licenses and hardware inventory

  • Perform duties and special projects as assigned by the supervisor or senior management

 

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or relevant discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an end user computing support
  • Certification in Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS), Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) or other relevant courses is preferred
  • Expert knowledge in Microsoft Windows Operating System and PC applications

  • Knowledge in configuration of Android and iOS Devices
  • Familiarity with managing mobility devices (Apple iOS & Samsung Android), Mac OS preferred but not required

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management and outside parties in a non-technical language.

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
