Assistant Event Operations Manager/in

The role...
We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Event Operations Manager to host events, banquets and dinners.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting our guests and being the point of contact during events.
- Training, leading, supervising and coaching (new) employees, trainees and interns
- Leading the entire service team and all operational service processes of the day-to-day business
- Assignment of employees to their stations and tasks
- Deployment and supervision of employees during events
- Preparation of the weekly schedule and timely information of the employees about their assignments
- Timely recording of all working hours of subordinate employees in the "PPE" system
- Organization & supervision of the mise en place in consultation with the client / event planner
- Contact person for the customer / event planner
- Dealing with complaints and their problem solving
- Briefing of the staff before the daily events
- Working closely with interdepartmental managers, especially accounting, FO, HSK and Events Admin.
- Making bookings and cash payments at the end of events
