JOB QUALIFICATION


• Minimum Bachelor Degree 
• Must be able to fluently speak, read, write and understand English and Thai language
• Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process  
• Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Must possess computational ability / basic computer skills / problem-solving and negotiation skills / organizational and planning skills to manage your time and to meet deadlines and objectives / good time-keeping skills to enable you to effectively manage training schedules
• Must have a personal commitment to improving your own knowledge and skills
• 2 - 3 years work experience in training functions


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


• To assist the Director of Talent Development with the smooth and efficient running of all tasks, ensuring that all the policies and procedures implemented in the Department.
• To anticipate external guests’ needs through observation and offer prompt, efficient service either personally or through effective communication with other staff.
• To identify training and development needs systematically throughout the hotel in conjunction with Managers, Head of Department, and Director of Talent Development.
• To assist Managers, Head of Department in achieving training objectives and review on a monthly basis.
• To ensure new and current staff have received departmental, corporate and legal training;
• To hold monthly Departmental meetings with trainers to ensure training needs are being covered;
• To ensure effectiveness of training by conducting post cost evaluation;
• To have  an understanding of e-learning techniques, and where relevant, being involved in the delivery of group e-learning sessions if requested;
• To align working practices and conduct with ‘St. Regis Bangkok’ Hotel Vision; consistently strive to meet and exceed the expectations of both internal and external guests;
• To assist with the maintenance and control of the facilities in Training Room, training material and equipment;
• To assist the Director of Talent Development with the planning, administration and implementation of the hotel’s training courses;
• To assist with the coordination and support of the hotel’s Departmental Trainers.
• To liaise with the local training institutions and government agencies;
• To monitor, evaluate and coordinate in-house trainees and ensure all processes of local trainee are completed;
• To monitor and review the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions with managers;
• To maintain Host Notice Boards and upkeep of host communications;
• To respond to changes in the Human Resources Function as dictated by the industry, company or hotel;
• To ensure that all the foreign language training classes are conducted in a professional manner;
• To personally ensure compliance with all relevant Workplace Health & Safety and Occupational Health & Safety legislation, and related ‘St. Regis Bangkok’ and Marriott Policies;
• To administer employee recognition program base on Marriott guideline;
• To monitor and ensure all host members are complied with St. Regis Bangkok grooming and uniform standard;
• To attend meeting on behalf of  the Director of Talent Development;
• To cooperate with educational institutes for an internship program;
• To conduct monthly product knowledge test;
• To systematize monthly training records and report to the Director of Talent Development;
• To conduct Train the Trainer or Training Skills Workshop training;
• To conduct the Service Culture Next Generation Training;
• To assist Director of Talent Development conducting Career Track training and keep tracks of the progress;
• To conduct hotel inspection for university visits;
• To conduct the Orientation and coordinate all facilitators according standard requirement;
• To prepare, organize, administer and conduct in-house training courses i.e. new staff orientation program and other corporate training;
• To do other jobs as instructed by the Director of Talent Development and Director of Human Resources such as conducting training topics as per assigned.
