Take charge of channel sales/business development for HK Disney Land and room-nights.
​Key clients: OTA and traditional travel agencies in Hunan/Fujian/Shantou/Huizhou/Jiangxi/Guilin.
Achieve the agreed goals of submission of market study reports, joint admission (theme park) and room-nights (3hotels) targets from assigned trade regions and accounts.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve or exceed admission and room-night targets by promoting HKDL products and events among the travel trade in the assigned catchment area of eastern Guangdong (i.e. Shantou, Chaozhou and Jieyang). Complete market study reports with agreed quality and quantity. Create market presence in different trade channels, formulate business development initiatives which contribute to the bottom-line and review timely on the distribution efficiency of existing account portfolio.
  • Execute tactical promotions or advertising campaigns with key partners, in order to drive maximum revenue and exposure from the responsible catchment area.
  • Allocate resources (i.e. co-op marketing budget, point-of-sales materials, and sales premiums) for each individual account under own trade portfolio with an objective to assure cost effectiveness and yield the best return from responsible catchment area.
  • Maintain cohesive business relationships with HKDL trade partners including all key external parties such as local tourism bureaus, HKTB, airlines, other transportation providers, etc.
  • Conduct regular trade education with the assistance of direct reports. Prepare written reports, updated account information, trade and competitors’ intelligence.
Basic Qualifications
  • The position requires outstanding negotiation skills to manage a portfolio of trade accounts in a particular catchment area. It involves a high degree of complexity in dealing with scarce resources allocation, balancing cost and benefit between the company and travel agents, motivating the trade in a sustainable manner with the ultimate goal of delivering results that in-line with the expectation. This position is highly result-oriented as business result is accounted for half of the overall performance appraisal’s grading. Job holder should be able to work under pressure.
  • Fluent Mandarin (Putonghua) is necessary to perform this job to communicate with both external partners and members of travel trade in the Greater China region. English skill should be passable, and understanding Hakka dialect is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years relevant working experience, prefer to have 3 to 5 years relevant working experience.
