Job Description

The primarily objective is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the hotel guests and Visitors. Keep the pool area clean and well maintained and also to ensure water hygienic and safety standards are met at all times.

Additionally welcome guests to the pool facility and always be courteous and friendly to guests, be attentive to their needs, handle problems in a professional manner and are conscious of the importance of safety.

The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

• Ensure Guests are aware of all services and activities available at the pool.

• Ensure that proper pool testing has taken place prior to Guests using the facility.

• Ensure all Guests are registered prior to using the pool and are aware of the rules and regulations of the facility.

• Responding to emergencies and rescuing swimmers in danger of drowning and performing first aid procedures once needed

• Makes sure the swimming pool is clean and constantly monitors swimming pool activity.

• To have required knowledge of SPA facilities along with their prices and also knows about membership procedures.

Qualifications

• A suitable level of education
• Qualified as a lifeguard with a valid license issued by the concerned authorities in addition to first aid knowledge. 
• 1 to 2 years hotel or club experience as a lifeguard.
• Good oral and written communication skills in English
