Berghoferin Fine Hotel & Hideaway***** in South Tyrol/Alto Adige is currently looking for a motivated and service-driven Receptionist for the upcoming summer season (from mid-June to approx. mid-October).


As the first point of contact for our discerning guests, you will embody the unique and distinctive spirit, the quiet sophistication, and refined, understated elegance that define the Fine Hotel & Hideaway Berghoferin. Your role begins before arrival and often extends beyond departure – ensuring each guest feels genuinely welcomed, individually cared for, and effortlessly guided throughout their stay. From orchestrating smooth arrivals and departures to offering bespoke recommendations, thoughtful attention to detail, and attending to every request with discretion and poise, your warm professionalism sets the tone for unforgettable stays in this truly unique five-star hideaway

The Berghoferin Fine Hotel & Hideaway is seeking a talented and passionate professional with a keen eye for detail and a natural flair for delivering refined, guest-oriented service.

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


Providing consistently outstanding service and embodying our philosophy of highly personalised, discreet, and engaging hospitality across all guest interactions


Ensuring a smooth, professional, and guest-focused front office operation – from pre-arrival communication to departure and follow-up


Extending a warm and gracious welcome to all guests upon arrival, offering assistance with check-in and ensuring a seamless and personalised introduction to the hotel; escorting guests to their suite with a detailed introduction or accompanying restaurant guests to the restaurant


Confidently communicating all relevant information regarding the hotel’s offerings, services, and surrounding area, tailored to individual guest preferences


Coordinating with other departments and maintaining close communication across the hotel to ensure a seamless and exceptional guest experience


Handling inquiries, requests, and special arrangements with discretion, care, and a keen attention to detail


Managing daily administrative tasks with accuracy and timeliness, including guest correspondence, reservations, maintaining records, and fulfilling reporting duties


Maintaining the reception area to the highest standards of appearance, organisation, and guest readiness


Upholding impeccable personal presentation and ensuring a polished, well-groomed appearance that reflects the standards ofBerghoferin Fine Hotel & Hideaway


Communicating regularly with the managing owners to share key insights, guest feedback, concerns, and suggestions for continuous improvement



Position-Related Benefits


Structured 6-day workweek in high season with flexible day off; in low season, up to two days off per week are possible, as the hotel and restaurant are closed for guests from Monday after breakfast until Wednesday midday



Staff accommodation (private room) provided free of charge


Complimentary staff meals, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, soft drinks, and coffee – also on days off

Professional Profile


Proven experience: Solid professional experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Agent, or in a comparable operational role, preferably within a luxury hotel, curated upscale boutique property, or refined hospitality environment, providing a strong understanding of high-end guest service standards and daily hotel operations. Experience in a position of responsibility is valuable but not required.


Commitment to refined hospitality and guest excellence: Genuine passion for hospitality and dedication to bespoke, guest-focused service. Ability to create memorable and lasting impressions through attentiveness, discretion, and a strong commitment to excellence. Anticipates guest needs and delivers personalized, high-quality experiences.


Communication, language skills, and cultural awareness: Fluent in English, Italian, and German, with refined, confident, and guest-oriented communication skills. Adapts tone and style to international guests with warmth and professionalism. Enthusiasm for working in a culture-savvy environment with a strong sense of etiquette and refined ambiance.


Operational competence and organizational skills: Ability to work independently while closely collaborating with management, with the potential to supervise or work alongside an additional team member in the future. Skilled at multitasking efficiently and remaining calm, solution-oriented, and professional in busy or challenging situations.
