Busy International downtown DC is seeking a Banquet Manager! Do you have what it takes? Do you have prior F&B experience and are you ready to lead a team? Oversee a busy Banquet department in the heart of DC steps from the White House!  

You will be responsible for bringing and maintaining  your own suits, white button down collared shirts, shoes for this position.

Learn to oversee and run the Banquet department. The phases of training will be concurrently throughout your 18 months and based on your performance.

Benefits include: free meals during your shift worked. In addition, after 90 days holiday pay is offered, and immediately discounted room nights are offered. PTO is accrued after 90 days. Please check with Human Resources for more details. These benefits may vary depending on location. The hotel will provide the candidate up to 15 days of complimentary accommodations while you find a permanent place to stay (this is contingent to hotel room availability and occupancy). Airport pick up is not offered.

$52,000 Annually

Must have current Banquet Management experience. This person will be supervising a set up team and a service team, with about 30,000 sq feet of space, which we service about $8 million with annually. High Volume experience is preferred.

Eligibility criteria for our Career USA programs:

- You are enrolled in a post secondary ministerially recognized academic institution in the hospitality industry OR have a hospitality degree and at least 1 year of recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside of the USA) OR have 5 years recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside the USA

- You have shown consistent career growth over the last years

- You have shown serious commitment to your most recent employers
