Lead, F&B Strategy:

Chanel is looking for a Lead, Fragrance and Beauty Strategy to join our team in New York. The ideal candidate will offer at least five years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Support the Group Director of F&B Business Development on development of materials for key priority work and presentations (Budget Alignment, 3Yr Plan (MTP), Deauville and Country Review)
  • Develop and manage monthly high-level reporting on competitive performance (NPD); help ensure that all available competitive data is accessible, streamlined, and easily leveraged across teams
  • Collaborate with and support cross functional teams to identify measurable KPI’s for all division strategy work
  • Provide actionable distribution/market insights and strategy recommendations to business partners
  • Execute ad hoc KPI reporting and market projections
  • Partner with Consumer Insights team to help shape F&B related research questions
  • Compile and stay abreast of key economic indicators and relevant industry news
  • Support long-term strategic distribution related projects, with a focus on optimizing our e-retail landscape and the balance between owned vs. multi-brand retail channels

Position Requirements:

  • 5-7 years professional experience, analytic experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated strength in communication and influencing skills; not only written and verbal, but also in the engagement of internal and external business partners
  • Open to new ideas and actively builds networks to achieve goals
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, strategic thinker. Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Core understanding of database organization (data architecture, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Strong blend of database knowledge, analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Excel and data modeling
  • Advanced PowerPoint / Concise Storytelling
  • Ability to glean insights/patterns from large data sets; must be analytical but also creative / ability to tell a story from the numbers
