We have a truly fantastic opportunity for a creative and innovative Head Pastry Chef to join us in our Viennese Operations and Events.

The role will be working in partnership with the Executive Chef to ensure the delivery of DO & CO quality and style of pastry and desserts. Experience with traditional Viennoise and French pastry would be advantageous, however the style of pastry delivered is more of a classical technique.

The next Head Pastry Chef should have a highly impressive career background, having worked in luxury high volume restaurants across the world. Alongside your operational culinary talent, we also need you to take pride and ownership of training a team of pastry chefs to your own exceptionally high standards.

What’s essential for us:
Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a similar role within a luxury hospitality industry.
Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to develop teams.
Experienced in all aspects of HACCP of Food Safety standards.
Skilled in monitoring and controlling food costs by creative menu planning and keeping waste to a minimum.
Must also be a people person, creative, empathetic with strong leadership skills and an entrepreneurial spirit
Adaptable and have a flexible approach to their work
Experience in Training and Compensation and creating a Company Culture
Fluent in English (fluent in German is a plus but not a must have)
