The Opportunity:

The Four Seasons, Washington D.C. is currently looking for a Dynamic and Detailed Group Event Services Manager. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Event Sales, you will be part of a cohesive team with opportunity to build a successful career with global potential. Responsibilities will include: negotiation with clients, finalizing the requirements of confirmed bookings, conducting site inspections with potential clients, ensuring that all involved departments have the most updated information in regards to group and event requirements prior to arrival, supervising the execution of all groups and events, infuse creativity into our catering offerings, attending meetings with hotel teams and clients, finding solutions to any challenges that may arise, being the liaison for all vendor/supplier related client needs, and contributing to the preparation of forecasts and budgets.

Ideal candidates:

A minimum of 5 years of luxury hotel catering experience, experience in a similar leadership position, a clear sales approach, passion for the pro-active sales as well as for event and group planning, the ability to think out of the box and be flexible and adaptable to last minute changes.  You should have proficiency in MS Office, excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, an eye for detail, curiosity and a creative flair; bringing your personal touch and energy to our hotel! ​
